Communicating with a foreign speaker does not only mean overcoming a language barrier, but also overcoming the cultural barrier which separates you.
Of German nationality and living in France, I’m perfectly bilingual and at ease in both cultures, with a solid professional experience in both German and French companies, I have since a few years concentrated work on translation and interpreting. I also perform translations from English to German.
The scope of my translations spreads from legal fields (General Assembly status reports, moral reports, judgement, summons) through technical fields (instructions, offer calls, technical descriptions, security notes, …) all the way to tourism (brochures, Web pages, surveys, …) and history (book translations for publishers …)
Based in Toulouse, my main roles in matters of interpreting consists of assisting foreign subcontractors during their negotiations within the aeronautical industry, and accompanying them in their implantation steps if they wish to set up business in the area, or even help the “Chambre des metiers” to make its exchanges easier.
